Last Updated: June 24, 2025
CSRA Food Trucks is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Measures to Support Accessibility
CSRA Food Trucks takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Include accessibility as part of our mission statement and internal policies.
- Integrate accessibility into our procurement practices.
- Appoint an accessibility officer and/or ombudsperson. (Note: For smaller projects, this might be the core team).
- Provide continual accessibility training for our staff. (Note: For smaller projects, this means ongoing learning).
- Assign clear accessibility targets and responsibilities.
- Employ formal accessibility quality assurance methods.
We aim to adhere to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our standard.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
CSRA Food Trucks is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard yet. We are actively working to address these areas.
Known Limitations & Alternatives
Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of CSRA Food Trucks, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations, and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed.
- Interactive Map: Our map feature, while enhanced for keyboard navigation for markers, may still present challenges for some screen reader users or complex keyboard navigation scenarios. As an alternative, all food truck information, including locations and schedules, is available in our Truck Directory which is presented in a list format.
- User-Generated Content: Content submitted by truck owners (e.g., descriptions, menu items) may not always be fully accessible if not formatted with accessibility in mind. We encourage owners to provide clear and descriptive content and plan to offer guidance.
- Third-Party Integrations: Some third-party components, like reCAPTCHA, may have their own accessibility limitations that are outside our direct control.
